play the maze

 

leaves fall down today, I see things in a different way

I live all I can but I am lesser than the man

I try to find my signs to something I'd call mine

I don't wanna find misery in a mirror that reflects me

for all to see

 

I've seen my share of open doors get slammed right in my face

I pause to take a breath and search for an ending to this maze

our earth still spins around as walls come tumbling down

answers lie in truth, the world would be just fine without you

and the things you do

 

institution teaches you things you ought to do

point out who to blame, insructions to their crazy game

life is simply living the life you choose

I'm not telling you which way to go, and what to do

do as you do

 

but I choose not to play this crazy maze

I wanna live an honest life for all my days

I don't need to be a hero

I don't need a hero

we all need some answers to the questions that have always been lurking in our souls

 

don't try to reason me, don't try to level me, don't try to find your mind and be

understanding me

just try to buy your time and someday you will find

life is not a game, it will always be the same

but your soul got pulled in, your heart struggles within

there's an ending to this craze

don't play the maze

DON'T PLAY THE MAZE!!
